So far I know, the blood pressure should be 120/80 to be normal and if it is 140/90 then its considered High bp. My problem is, I am a bangladesh citizen, when I stay there I found I had high blood pressure like 140/90mmHg and my doctor prescribed me to take "Ramipril" 1.25mg everyday one tablet. but since last one month I am in china due to business purpose and I am having chinese food, I have my own bp meter which I carry always and I check my bp every day twice around 2 pm and 10 pm. Since I started eating chinese food in china, I found my blood pressure became like 135-85 and some time 128/80 but its not reaching 140/90. Then I stopped taking my medicine 15 days before and still now its the same like 130-135/80-85. I would like to inform that here in China we are taking half of a small boul of rice in the afternoon or at dinner but mostly vegetable, fish, beef, chicken and egg. I want to know is it a normal case?
